Who we are

This policy explains how Novex Communications Pvt. Ltd. handles information when you use NovexPlay and NovexQ.

What we collect

• Request details: the songs you request, the venue, and the table number you scanned.
• Optional name: a first name or nickname you choose to enter so the venue can call out your request.
• Technical data: basic device/usage information and an IP address, used for security and to prevent abuse.
• Payment: processed by our gateway, CCAvenue. We receive confirmation of payment and a reference, but we do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details.

How we use it

• To queue and play your requests and show your place in line.
• To process payments and handle refunds.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To produce aggregated, anonymised insights about what music is popular, by area and time, which may be shared with music labels and partners. These insights do not identify you.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share an individual's name or request history with advertisers.

Retention

We keep transaction and request records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute-resolution purposes, and then delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

Entering a name is optional. To request access to or deletion of your personal data, contact us using the details on our Contact page and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Third parties

Payment processing is handled by CCAvenue under its own privacy policy. Venues see your request and any name you enter so they can play your song.
